China chemical and physical power industry association (English: China Industrial Association of Power Sources, abbreviation: CIAPS) is a national level industry association registered by the Ministry of civil affairs of People's Republic of China, and the competent department is the Ministry of industry and information technology. The association was founded in December 1989, and now has more than 400 member units. It consists of six branches, including the alkaline battery and the new chemical power supply association, the acid battery branch, the lithium battery branch, the solar photovoltaic branch, the dry battery working committee and the power supply parts sub branch.

The world's largest exhibition of battery industry in China, the Eleventh China International Battery Technology Exchange / Exhibition (CIBF2014), will continue to be held in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center on June 18th -20.

The International Conference of world battery industry, sponsored by China chemical and physical power industry association, is held every two years. It is the largest professional technology exhibition in the international battery industry. It is also the first International Exhibition on trademark registration and protection in China's battery industry. The exhibition will also hold the "2014 China International Battery frontier technical exchange" during the same period.

Battery demand for new energy vehicles and communications market is strong
