Theme: “xEV and Energy Storage” Bring Huge New Market for Batteries & Drive Continued Battery Technology Innovation 

     China Industrial Association of Power Sources will hold the "14th China International Battery Fair (CIBF2020) – Exhibition & Technical Conference" on May 25 to 27, 2020 in Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center. 

    CIBF2020 Exhibition will be also accompanied by the 5th China Energy Storage Exhibition and 3rd China Power Bank Exhibition. For CIBF2020, the Exhibition area is totally 105000 square meters, the number of exhibitors will be up to 1350, the number of booths will be over 5500. CIBF2020 will focus on the global 3C battery, power battery, energy storage battery, various battery materials, manufacturing equipment and system solutions, with a special focus on the series of achievements in the field of new energy passenger bus, passenger cars and logistics vehicles in the world for the last two years. Therefore, CIBF2020 will be a trade platform for battery manufacturers and users to exchange ideas on new technologies, to expand their markets, to promote their products and services to customers in the worldwide marketplace. 

CIBF 2020 Technical Conference will be named as “China International Conference on the Frontier Technology of Advanced Batteries, CIBF2020” and will mainly focus on the latest progress on R& D and applications of advanced batteries for electric vehicle and energy storage, especially on the latest progress of advanced materials for next generation xEV battery & energy storage. Among those, main contents will cover the incentive policies & new development plans rolled out by  different countries to promote and support R & D and applications of advanced batteries for EV & Energy Storage; the current and future markets of advanced batteries for the EV & BESS; R&D progress of advanced batteries and key materials; advancement of battery manufacturing and evaluation; as well as battery safety and battery management system, etc. There will be over 1500 people from more than 50 countries and regions attending such a big event. Therefore, the technical conference of CIBF2020 will be a great platform for manufacturers and researchers in the fields of battery & related material/equipment/instrument to exchange ideas on technology advance, to promote battery technologies development internationally.

 CALL FOR PAPERS

    China Industrial Association of Power Sources has just spent their 30 years birthday (1989-2019) and  in the 28 years of its excellent history in organizing CIBF exhibition & technical conference. China International Conference on the Frontier Technology of Advanced Batteries has been the leader in providing outstanding key speakers of industry & research from all over the world,  to discuss the state of the art of nergy storage technology developments in applications from portable products to xEV and Energy Storage applications. In addition, our main contents will also cover the government policies & new develop development plans from different countries to promote and support R & D and applications of advanced batteries for EV & Energy Storage; the current and future markets of advanced batteries for the EV & BESS; R&D progress of advanced batteries and key materials; advancement of battery manufacturing and evaluation; as well as battery safety and battery management system, etc. 

Main contents of focus include: 

1、Comprehensive topics: Government policies and R & D plans as well as market/application evaluation of xEV & Energy Storage batteries; 

2、xEV advanced batteries: Latest progress on R & D and applications of various advanced batteries for MHEV(start/stop system), HEV, PHEV and EV, etc.；

3、Advanced battery for Energy Storage: Latest progress on R & D and applications of various advanced batteries for micro & smart grids, etc.；

4、New generation battery materials: Latest progress on R & D and applications of various anode、cathode、electrolyte and separator materials, etc.；

5、New type battery chemistries: Latest progress on R&D and application of new generation Li ion chemistry, sodium ion chemistry, Li metal & other light metal chemistry, including all solid systems, etc.

6、Safety, life & reliability evaluation: Safety issues for Lithium ion batteries in EV and energy storage applications ，safety modification of cell, module, system design; Evaluation via simulation and road test; New standards and regulations for cells、modules  and system evaluation, etc.; 

7、Review of the status and future outlook for other battery technologies (such as fuel cell systems for EV, advanced lead acid or sodium ion batteries and others for Energy Storage, etc.). 

“China International Conference on the Frontier Technology of Advanced Batteries, CIBF2020 provides not only broad perspectives, but also in depth insights into significant advances in materials, product development and applications for all battery systems and related technologies.

Paper Submission Deadline -- December 31 - Send a brief abstract describing the content of the paper with a proposed title and contact information (email address). You will be contacted regarding the acceptance of your paper. Early submission is recommended. Submissions must be received by December 31

The Conference will have both poster session and oral session, please indicate which session (poster or oral) you prefer for your presentation. The numer of oral presentations will be limited and the oral presentations will be chosen by the organizer. The unselected oral presentations will be assigned to poster session.

Official language for the paper: English (Chinese could be used for presenters who has difficulties in English and instant translation between Chinese and English will be provided)
